• no clear point
• no audience benefit (WIIFY)
• no clear flow
• too detailed
• too long

WIIFY = What's In It For You

Eye contact is important. Look at each person's eyes throughout the presentation.
No more than four words per bullet point.
The presentation needs to have a flow to it.
There needs to be a point to the presentation.
Practice the presentation as much as possible (i.e. while driving, brushing teeth, in front of anyone who will listen)
